Tassos Papachristou

Tassos joined NOVE’s sustainability practice after working in an MEP’s Cabinet in the European Parliament, bringing with him experience in European Public Affairs on environmental and energy policies.
Prior to joining NOVE, Tassos worked as a Trainee and later as an Accredited Parliamentary Assistant at the European Parliament. During this time, he advised his MEP on the work of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) and Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON), gaining insight on the European Parliament’s inner workings and technical know-how on policy issues relating to the green and digital transitions.
Tassos holds a Master’s degree in European Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s degree in European Studies from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands. During his studies, he focused on how interest groups competed for influence in the Single-Use Plastics Directive and the Renewable Energy Directive II.
