Nataliya Askerova

Consultant

Nataliya brings her expertise in European affairs and international politics to support NOVE’s energy team.

Prior to joining NOVE, Nataliya worked as a Communication Coordinator at an energy traders’ association in Brussels, where she managed strategic communications, business development, and external partnerships, and monitored policy and regulatory developments in energy files. Before this role, she completed a traineeship in the European Parliament, where she assisted a German MEP on topics related to energy and transport. Prior to that, Nataliya managed EU projects at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
Nataliya holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in International Relations and an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree with Honours in European Studies from the University of Udine and the University of Strasbourg. During her studies, she completed two EU public affairs internships Brussels, where she covered regulatory developments in the digital and energy sectors. In addition to her professional activities, Nataliya is a member of the European Leadership Network, which focuses on global security issues and peacebuilding.
