Martyna Hanak

Consultant

Martyna is a consultant in NOVE’s energy practice, focusing on EU energy and climate policy. She advises clients on policy and regulatory developments, drawing on her experience across EU institutions.

Before joining NOVE, Martyna completed a traineeship at the Legal Service of the Council of the EU, where she worked on energy files. During the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU, she was part of the Mertens team, coordinating Coreper I and liaising with EU institutions and Member States. She also worked at the European Commission’s SG REFORM on sustainable competitiveness and energy policy, including work related to the Commission’s Omnibus simplification proposals.
Martyna holds an LL.M. in Energy and Climate Law from the University of Groningen and an LL.B. in Scottish and English Law from the University of Aberdeen.
