Passionate about the clean just transition and the European project, Lucia joined our energy team equipped with experience gained at two prominent EU institutions, giving her direct insights into both the EU legislative processes and policy implementation.
Lucia is a driven professional specialising in EU affairs with expertise across several EU policy areas, including energy, the just transition, regional development and social affairs. With a magna cum laude background in political science, her experience spans EU funds management and policy-making through roles at the European Commission and the European Parliament, complemented by prior experience in corporate EU affairs at Bosch Thermotechnology. At the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy at the European Commission, she concentrated on the Just Transition Fund implementation in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, focusing on the territories most negatively impacted by the transition towards climate-neutrality. At the European Parliament, she was at the forefront of policy-making at the EU level, having negotiated key legislative files within the EMPL committee. Lucia offers a versatile skill set in stakeholder engagement, legislative negotiation, communication, as well as policy monitoring and event organisation.
