Ignacio Bañares Olmo

Ignacio is a consultant in NOVE’s healthcare practice, with three years of experience specialising in EU and Spanish health and pharmaceutical policy. He advises healthcare and life sciences clients on regulatory, policy and political, helping them navigate complex institutional environments and anticipate the potential impact of emerging policy initiatives. Throughout his consulting career, Ignacio has worked on a broad range of issues affecting the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors and engaging effectively with EU and Spanish institutions.

Ignacio previously worked as a Policy and Press Advisor Trainee in the European Parliament, where he supported the EPP Group on policy analysis, political monitoring, communications and institutional engagement.
Ignacio holds a Master’s degree in International Business Economics and Management from KU Leuven and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Complutense University of Madrid.
