Aniko Parjiani

Aniko brings a strong academic and professional background in European affairs, alongside over nine years of experience in project management and coordination.

Aniko developed an in-depth understanding of European law and policy matters during her 10-month tenure as an MEP Assistant Trainee at the European Parliament and her studies at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. Throughout her traineeship, she closely followed key legislative initiatives in Energy, Industry, and Foreign Affairs, such as the Electricity Market Design (EMD), the Net Zero Industry Act (NZIA), the Parliament’s own initiative report (INI) on Geothermal Energy, as well as initiatives on the European Defence Industry Reinforcement through Common Procurement Act (EDIRPA) and the Act in Support of Ammunition Production (ASAP). Before her traineeship, Aniko pursued studies in EU Law at the College of Europe, focusing her Master’s Thesis on the Compliance of Blockchain Technology with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Prior to this, Aniko has accumulated years of professional experience in planning and coordinating projects within Georgia's judicial system, contributing to the implementation of the Association Agreement between the EU and Georgia in collaboration with various international donor organisations. Her professional background also encompasses experience in public procurement and involvement in various non-governmental organisations.
