Álvaro joined NOVE’s sustainability practice with strong experience in European public affairs, business development, and stakeholder engagement. He has been closely involved in organising high-level conferences and debates that bring together EU policymakers, industry, and civil society, providing a platform for dialogue on Europe’s key political and economic priorities.
Before joining NOVE, Álvaro worked at the European Business Summits in Brussels, where he focused on developing partnerships and driving business opportunities while contributing to the design and delivery of major policy events. He has also supported EU-funded projects and gained international experience in public affairs through work in Latin America.
Álvaro holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Navarra, where he graduated with honours. He further specialised in energy policy, focusing on renewable energy, sustainable mobility, and clean technologies. His academic journey also included exchanges in China and South Korea, strengthening his global outlook.
