Alejandro Cordero

Alejandro is a skilled professional with extensive experience at the intersection of diplomacy, EU policy, and legal expertise. Grounded by a strong background in European Affairs, Alejandro is part of NOVE’s Sustainability Practice, offering tailored and impactful solutions to clients on sustainability-related files and initiatives.

Prior to joining NOVE in 2023, he worked as a Parliamentary Assistant at the Parliament North Rhine-Westphalia (Landtag NRW) where he advised multiple Parliamentarians, including in the Committee for International and European Affairs. Previously, he worked as a Policy and Advocacy Officer for the Union of European Federalist in Brussels and supported the coordination of the MEP-led initiative “The Spinelli Group”. He also has previous experience in national governments having started his career as a legal trainee in the Ministry of the Presidency of Spain.
Alejandro is an EU-qualified Lawyer. He studied EU International Relations and Diplomacy at the College of Europe in Bruges and holds a LL.M. in German and European Law from the University of Münster. During his studies, he co-founded the NGO OAN International and supported its work in the field of development and cooperation in Nikki, Benin as Secretary-General.
