Paula combines strong expertise in EU public affairs and sustainability policy with a strategic communications and advocacy background, supporting clients across climate, transport, and circular economy files.
Prior to joining NOVE, Paula spent nearly five years at Edelman Brussels, where she advised multinational companies, trade associations, and NGOs on EU and international policy processes related to transport decarbonisation, maritime and logistics, circular economy, and the just transition. She supported high-profile advocacy and communications campaigns, developed policy positioning and narratives, coordinated multi-stakeholder coalitions, and closely followed legislative and regulatory developments at EU and international level. Her experience includes engagement with EU institutions as well as participation in global processes and forums such as the UN Global Treaty on Plastics, the IMO discussions on maritime decarbonisation, international climate conferences (COPs), and the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos.
Paula previously gained experience in EU policymaking through roles in the European Parliament and EU-focused organisations. She holds a strong interest in sustainability governance, climate diplomacy, and stakeholder engagement. Her working languages are English, French, and Spanish.
