Oppose the abuse of a dominant position
New practices by a player in the travel sector were damaging our client’s business model and impeding consumer choice. In collaboration with a law firm, we developed a narrative to inform the European Commission and relevant stakeholders about the potential harms of the dominant player.
Fight unfair competition
Actions by US competitors of our client were infringing on an internal market directive. We developed an “industrial case” and built a coalition of like-minded European companies which ultimately led DG Competition to issue a Statement of Objections and DG GROW to launch an infringement procedure.
