Senior Consultant

NOVE is looking to recruit a Senior Consultant as we enter an exciting period of expansion. We are proud of our uniquely talented international team, and now want to build upon this by adding someone who is resourceful, energetic, and motivated. Could that person be you? This is an ideal position for an experienced consultant who is passionate about delivering strategic value to clients and willing to bring his/her experience to a high-powered and collaborative environment. The candidate will be responsible for the pro-active development of his/her client portfolio and should contribute to the growth of the agency’s expertise and reputation for achieving clients’ objectives to the highest standards. This job requires initiative, attention to detail, the ability to lead and motivate a team of consultants and project assistants, the capacity to carry out several projects simultaneously, as well as great communication skills at senior level. You should relish the challenges of handling a mix of public affairs and communications activities across various industries, primarily in the energy/environment sector. As we place a high value on collaboration and flexibility, you should also be willing and able to contribute to our work in information and communications technology (ICT), fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and healthcare as necessary. This is a long-term opportunity, starting as of September 2018. Role and responsibilities As a Senior Consultant at NOVE, your primary responsibilities will include: • Developing and implementing public affairs and communications strategies for clients active in the above-mentioned sectors; • Providing strategic advice and expert counsel; • Gathering intelligence and provide analysis of EU policies and legislation; • Managing and coordinating a team of consultants, ensuring a timely delivery of services; • Participating in the growth of our company, by actively contributing to new business and marketing efforts. Qualifications and skills The ideal candidate will bring the following: • Previous work experience of 5 to 7 years, with at least 3 years in a Public Affairs consultancy is a must; • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Working knowledge of one or more European languages is an asset; • Strong collaboration skills and a positive, can-do attitude; • A proven ability to deliver results as well as executing on client campaigns in a fast-paced environment; • An innate sense of entrepreneurship, with the capacity to lead and motivate a team of junior staff.
